Fairfax County, Virginia, Businesses Add 985 Jobs in February
Technology firms dominate monthly increase
Fairfax County, Virginia, March 20, 2000 Six corporations, including two Canadian technology firms, announced in February that they would expand in or relocate operations to Fairfax County.
The companies will add 985 jobs to the economy, according to the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA). Typically, every new job added spins off two to three jobs in the secondary economy.
