Fairfax County EDA selects Siddall
to handle advertising and public relations services
Fairfax County, Virginia, August 4, 2003 – The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) has selected Siddall Inc. to handle advertising and public relations services. The FCEDA Commission, the governing body of the authority, approved the contract on July 30.
Siddall, based in Richmond, has had the FCEDA advertising services contract since 1978. The contract, which begins September 1, will be good for two years, and a two-year extension is possible after that.
“We undertook a rigorous examination of six teams that submitted proposals, and we believe the Siddall team will best help the FCEDA broaden the reach of the message about Fairfax County’s economic vitality, the county’s many assets for companies looking to expand or relocate, and how economic development benefits the county,” said FCEDA Commissioner Ann Rodriguez, who chaired the Selection Advisory Committee that led the selection process.
“We’re proud to have worked with the FCEDA for more than two decades to help build Fairfax County into a nationally recognized business center,” said John Siddall, chairman of Siddall Inc. “Now we look forward to expanding that effort.”
