Export Counseling Sessions are available for Fairfax County Companies
FCEDA teams with federal and state agencies to offer sessions
Fairfax County, Virginia , March 29, 2005 — The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) i is providing export counseling services for businesses that are considering export opportunities or interested in entering the export market.
Through an arrangement with the Virginia Economic Development Partnership, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s U.S. Commercial Service and the U.S. Export Assistance Center, an international trade specialist will be available the first Monday of every month at the offices of the FCEDA in Tysons Corner, Virginia.
The one hour sessions are available by appointment only on the following days:
- April 4
- May 2
- June 6
- July 11
- August 1

- September 12
- October 3
- November 7
- December 5

“These counseling sessions are a tremendous opportunity for our small and mid-sized firms that may be considering exporting their goods or services overseas,” said Gerald L. Gordon, Ph.D., president and CEO of the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority. “The Export Sessions are a continuation of the many services we provide to small businesses in Fairfax County.”

The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (www.FairfaxCountyEDA.org) promotes Fairfax County as a business and technology center. The FCEDA assists businesses by identifying possible sites and facilities, and provides demographic and economic statistics. The FCEDA’s Capital Attraction Program links technology entrepreneurs with potential investors, and another program supports the growth of small and minority-owned companies.
