SteelCloud relocates to Fairfax County,
brings manufacturing and services jobs

Fairfax County, Virginia, May 10, 2005 – SteelCloud, a security solutions provider and manufacturer of custom computers and appliance servers, has relocated its headquarters to Fairfax County. The company (www.steelcloud.com) eventually will employ 131 people on Park Center Road in Herndon near Washington Dulles International Airport.

The company (NASDAQ symbol SCLD) will welcome customers, partners and local business people at a May 12 open house, which will run from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the new location.

“SteelCloud is a terrific addition to Fairfax County. A diversified economy is a strength for any community, so it is exciting to see growth in an industry sector that is not very prominent in the county – manufacturing,” said Gerald L. Gordon, Ph.D., president and CEO of the FCEDA. “The company will find the tools it needs here to grow and succeed.

SteelCloud’s approach to industry security needs include SteelCloud branded and non-branded appliances and servers, security solutions and professional services. SteelCloud approaches the market through three business units: the Appliance Server Group, the Security Solutions Group and the Advanced Technology Group.

“SteelCloud is excited to move our headquarters and manufacturing operations to Fairfax County, which has one of the fastest growing economies in the country,” said William D. Hughes, SteelCloud director of marketing. “ Fairfax County has long been and will continue to serve as a technology hub for the Washington area and our new facilities are conveniently located close to Dulles Airport and the Dulles Toll Road.”

Business growth helps Fairfax County fund public services such as the nation’s top-rated public school systems that contribute to the quality of life. Fairfax County offers businesses a state-of-the-art telecommunications infrastructure, access to domestic and international markets through Washington Dulles International Airport and a well-educated workforce.

The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (www.FairfaxCountyEDA.org) promotes Fairfax County as a business and technology center.
