Export development workshops set for companies interested in expanding abroad

FCEDA partners with Virginia agency to offer certificate program

Fairfax County , Virginia, January 13, 2006 ­ The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) and Virginia Economic Development Partnership are presenting a series of three workshops for small businesses and entrepreneurs who want to learn more about exporting from the United States. Participants will learn how to research markets, best practices for selling a product or services, and how to receive payment for exports.

The workshops will be conducted on January 24, February 28 and March 21, 2006. Participants will receive a Certificate of Training for attending all three sessions. There is no charge for the workshops.

All sessions will be held at the FCEDA/VEDP offices in Tysons Corner ( 8300 Boone Blvd., Suite 450, Vienna, Virginia 22182). A registration form is available on the FCEDA web site at www.fairfaxcountyeda.org/export_form.htm
