New Commissioner Appointed to the
Fairfax County Economic Development Authority
Fairfax County, Virginia, April 4, 1997 The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors appointed G. W. (Greg) Berry to a four-year term on the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority Commission. The appointment is to fill the vacancy left by F. Borden Walker, formerly of Mobil Oil, who recently left the commission to accept employment outside of the area.
Mr. Berry, also a Mobil Oil executive, is Manager for North America Marketing and Refining Business and Performance Analysis and a member of the Executive Leadership Council of Mobil's North America Marketing and Refining operations since 1994. His career with Mobil spans 15 years in a number of staff and operating assignments covering the Marketing and Refining, Corporate and Supply and Transportation businesses, both domestic and foreign. Mr. Berry has a B.S. degree in biology from Vanderbilt University and a M.B.A. in finance and marketing from Washington University.
The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority works to attract businesses to the County and to retain existing businesses.
