Outstanding police, firefighters, and EMTs will be honored at the annual Stars and Stripes Tribute 8 sponsored by the Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce. A special 9-11 Commemoration marking the tenth anniversary of the valor of local first responders will be presented in the program.

Police officers from both the Mount Vernon Police Station and the Franconia Police Station, along with local officers from the Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department will be recognized for their outstanding service to our community.
