What is the main business focus of your Fairfax County office?
Our Reston Town Center office will be the headquarters for Bechtel’s corporate operations, as well as our U.S. government services business unit and our civil works business for North America.  The Bechtel-led team located in Tysons Corner, Va., is the design-build contractor for Phase I of the Dulles Metrorail Project.

Who are your primary customers?
We work for a variety of government and commercial customers on projects that help grow local economies and improve the quality of life for communities and people around the world.

Moving to Reston makes the best sense for the long-term positioning of parts of Bechtel’s business.  The new location offers a central and convenient proximity to Washington, D.C., Reagan National, and Dulles International Airports, and other public transportation.  Further, Fairfax County puts us in the heart of an important area for recruiting some of the best talent in the nation.

What direction do you see your company heading in the next five years?
Bechtel has a healthy backlog of work and interesting and important new prospects on the horizon.  Working on the Dulles Metrorail project is very exciting for us, especially as one of the planned stations will be close to our new Reston offices.
