When was your company established?
Connected WorkPlace Solutions (CWPS) was incorporated in 1984.

What is the origin of your company’s name?
CWPS once stood for Computer Word Processing Solutions. The name change to Connected WorkPlace Solutions speaks to the evolution of our company from a point product business to a true solutions integrator.

Who owns your company? Our firm is a family owned business led by Jason Waldrop, CEO.

What is the main business focus of your Fairfax County office?  Our corporate headquarters in Chantilly is a full service operation providing design, implementation and support services.

Who are your primary customers? Our business is focused on providing enterprise class, yet affordable, business solutions to the small to medium business market.

What sets you apart from your competitors? We have been able to develop innovative solutions and services to the SMB market that otherwise were once only available to large businesses or just simply not affordable. A small business client can look to us for IT Managed Services, Storage as a Service, IP Telephone Systems and even server consolidation and virtualization.

How many employees do you have and how many do you anticipate hiring in the next 12 months?
Currently, we have 80 employees. Sales and engineering positions are expected over the next few quarters.
