What is the origin of your company name?
Infinity is a statistical symbol which also implies “endless possibilities” and QS stands for Quality Systems.

Who owns your company?
It’s privately owned by co-founders Mike Lyle and Chris Kearsley.

What is the main business focus of your Fairfax County office?
The Fairfax County (Chantilly) office is our corporate headquarters including finance, technical support, sales and marketing. We also conduct training classes on how to use our software.

Who are your primary customers?
Our primary customers are manufacturers of virtually any product. Primary industries include food and beverage, medical devices, aerospace and defense, electronics and pharmaceuticals. Any company needing to control the quality of its manufactured products can take advantage of our software.

What sets you apart from your competitors?
Our ability to support our customers. We have a seasoned technical support staff and a depth of expertise in industrial statistics. Additionally, our software is more robust and scalable than our competitors’ products. It can be installed on local computers, or be delivered via the Internet with our “Software as a Service” model.

What are the advantages of your Fairfax County location?
Our office is located close to Dulles airport, which is important for our customers who come to our office for training. Our employees enjoy the convenience of nearby restaurants and shopping plazas.

Where do you see your business in five to 10 years?
We’ve grown drastically over the past five years and we see that trend continuing as with the growing demand for tighter control over manufacturing quality. We are already looking to move to a larger space within Fairfax County.
