Secure Mission Solutions was first established in April 2008.

It was selected to reflect the work we do – providing physical and cyber security support to assure mission completion by federal agencies.

Who owns your company?
Secure Mission Solutions is owned by a private equity firm and members of the corporate leadership team.

What is the main business focus of your Fairfax County office?
Our primary Fairfax County location is the corporate headquarters which provides strategic leadership and overall direction for the firm, as well as business and corporate development activities. Other Fairfax County locations provide specific support for our customers.

Who are your primary customers?
Our primary customers are the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and various military services and intelligence agencies.

What sets you apart from your competitors?
Secure Mission Solutions is an integrated security company providing information assurance and electronic security systems for our customers.  Our single focus is assuring the success of a customer’s mission in spite of the threat environment and the dedication of our professional staff set us apart from competitors.

The business advantages of Fairfax County are significant.  Principal among them is the proximity to our customers and to the highly qualified workforce from which we must draw.  The advantages of our Reston Town Center location are numerable - ease of access, parking, amenities, lodging, restaurants and general ambiance are outstanding.

Where do you see your business in five to 10 years?
The security business, particularly the cyber security business, will remain strong and demanding as we see no diminishing of threats to our nation and its infrastructure on the horizon. We expect to continue to grow and develop even greater capabilities to help our government customers meet new and changing threats.
