When was your company established?

We began operating under the Time Warner Cable name in 1990 with the merger of Time Inc.’s cable company, American Television and Communications Corp., and Warner Cable, a division of Warner Communications. However, our roots go much deeper, starting back in the late 1960s when the cable industry began to expand.

What is the main business focus of your Fairfax County office?

Our Herndon office houses functions that include technical operations, engineering, business services, product management, customer care, marketing and legal. It also includes a product testing lab and network operations center. 

Who are your primary customers?

We provide video, high-speed data and voice services to more than 14 million customers in 28 states and serve both residential and commercial customers. Our largest operations are located in five geographic regions: New York State, the Carolinas, Ohio, southern California and Texas.
