Gerald L. Gordon, Ph.D., president and CEO of the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA, www.FairfaxCountyEDA.org), will be one of the featured speakers at an October 4 event in Budapest, Hungary, to highlight business opportunities in Fairfax County and the United States for Hungarian companies.
The FCEDA and InterAccess Inc., which promotes business ties between Hungary and the U.S., are presenting “Business Success in the U.S.” Dr. Gordon will address the audience about the Fairfax County economy and opportunities for Hungarian companies.
Other speakers include Marianne Drain, of the U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Department of Commerce, who will speak about opportunities to export to the U.S.; Dr. Balázs Hidvéghi, Hungary’s secretary for European affairs; Erzsébet Dobos, of the Hungarian Information Technology Agency; István Réczicza of the law firm of Reczicza White & Case LLP; Sianturi Batara of Citibank Hungary; and István Földesi of InnoHungary Technology Center, an FCEDA Partner in Tysons Corner, Va.
