Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grants provide $150K-$1M for early stage, high risk R&D for small technology businesses responding to solicitations from11 participating federal agencies.  This session provides insight into the overall program, and provides specific details on the NSF SBIR program.  NSF SBIR funds research in their four topic areas of Biological/Chemical, Education Applications, Electronics/Information/Communications technologies, and Nanotechnology/Advanced Materials/Manufacturing.  Learn how your ideas may fit the needs of NSF and other agencies.
