Export Development Assistance
Exporting 101: Exploring Global Opportunities and New Markets
The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA), in partnership with the Virginia Economic Development Partnership and the U.S. Commercial Service – U.S. Department of Commerce, will conduct a series of workshops for business men and women who are interested in exporting.
The workshops are designed for working businesses that are considering export opportunities or that are interested in entering the export market. Highlights of the workshop will include an overview of state and federal government resources, researching your market, the exporting process and export financing.
The workshops are scheduled for January 29, February 26 and March 25, 2008, 8-10 AM at the FCEDA office in Tysons Corner. There is no cost to attend the workshops, but pre-registration is required.

Export Counseling Services
In addition to the export workshop series, the FCEDA will provide export counseling services through an arrangement with the Virginia Economic Development Partnership. An international trade specialist will be available at the FCEDA office. You must schedule an appointment in order to meet with a trade representative.
