Fairfax County lands corporate headquarters of global security leader Northrop Grumman

Fairfax County, Virginia USA, Friday, July 30, 2010 -

Completing a comprehensive site selection process, Northrop Grumman Corporation announced that it signed an agreement to purchase an existing building located at 2980 Fairview Park Drive in the Falls Church area of Fairfax County as the new location for its corporate office. The company expects to initiate operations in the new corporate office facility in the summer of 2011 with employees from the company's Los Angeles and Arlington, Virginia, offices.

Northrop Grumman already is one of the largest employers in Fairfax County. Northrop Grumman joins CSC, Hilton Worldwide, Science Applications International Corporation and Volkswagen of America as companies that have relocated corporate headquarters to Fairfax County since 2007.
