THE EVENT
This event is the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority's 11th annual reception and was once again held in conjunction with BritishAmerican Business.
This year Ian Godden, Chairman of A|D|S and its subsidiary, Farnborough International, was the guest of honor speaking at this event.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Ian Godden is the Chairman of A|D|S and its subsidiary, Farnborough International. A|D|S, the trade organisation advancing UK AeroSpace, Defence and Security industries, was formed from the merger of the Association of Police and Public Security Suppliers (APPSS), the Defence Manufacturers Association (DMA) and the Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC). Ian became Chairman of A|D|S and FIL following the merger, having been CEO of SBAC.
Ian is widely experienced in the industry and has worked in the USA and Europe as an engineer, management consultant and entrepreneur. For the last 20 years he has been heavily involved in the international aviation, aerospace and defence industry on a wide range of strategic affairs, having consulted for many of the major US and European corporations.
