COVID-19 Recovery Support for Companies

Since early 2020, the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has upended the way we all do business.

This public health emergency created hardships and challenges for many in the community, including businesses. Looking past the pandemic, Fairfax County is optimistic that the future for companies invested in the region will be a bright one.

Continuing business operations in today’s situation is challenging and the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) is committed to providing small businesses with information and access to critical resources during this emergency. The FCEDA is keeping up to date with the Commonwealth of Virginia and Fairfax County Government as they offer critical information and COVID-19 business resources to help entrepreneurs during the pandemic crisis.

Fairfax County businesses can take advantage of several assistance programs through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The federal government has created a helpful summary and infographic highlighting key programs available to small businesses.

For questions about the loan programs or help with the application process, contact the Community Business Partnership (CBP) or the George Mason Small Business Development Center (SBDC).
