What does your company/organization do?
Our organization provides solutions to public and private sector clients in grants administration, financial management, analytics, human resources, leadership and management, organizational culture, human capital and talent management, and change management.
When was it established? 
We started operations in 1973.
What is the origin of your company/organization name?  
The company was named by the founder, Thomas F. Dungan, Jr. who leveraged his federal acquisition and contracting expertise to develop the company’s first training courses.  As a privately held, second-generation company, Management Concepts is a testament to the American entrepreneurial spirit.
Who owns your company/organization?
The company is owned by Thomas F. Dungan III.
What is the main business focus of your Fairfax County office?
The Fairfax County office serves as the headquarters for our U.S. operations. We are located in Tysons Corner with training centers across the country, including a large training facility located in Washington, D.C. Our Fairfax County office opened in 1973.
Who are your primary customers and has your customer base changed?  
Our primary customers include both private and public sector organizations. In the last few years we have been engaged with enterprises in the IT and healthcare sectors. In 2016, for the first time, we were awarded a multi-year contract with the Department of Labor to develop training and manage operations for the National Veterans’ Training Institute (NVTI) in Dallas, Texas.
What sets you apart from your competitors?
Management Concepts is a mid-size company with approximately 200 employees. Our size and the talent of our employees enables the organization to be more adaptable, flexible, and resilient than our competitors in our rapidly changing economy.  Our adaptability has enabled the organization to broaden our business model from providing only training solutions but consulting services as well.
What are the advantages of a Fairfax County location for your business/organization?  
We started the company in Fairfax County and have always been located here.  We feel that our reputation for excellence is well-suited to this county, where we are able to help the best and brightest organizations become even more competitive.
What new products or services are you offering? 
We have become very involved with veterans’ employment and training and we hope to expand our services in those areas in the near future.
