Refraction Rap: Commonwealth Commercialization Fund

The Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation (formerly the Center for Innovative Technology, or CIT) launched the Commonwealth Commercialization Fund (CCF) in 2020 to foster innovative and collaborative efforts in Virginia.  It provides grants up to $75,000 to early-stage Virginia technology companies to support early technology and market validation efforts, including (but not limited to): customer discovery, market research, business model validation, development of prototypes or a minimum viable product (MVP), customer pilots, intellectual property protection, and team development.
