Kick off the new year building a strong network that’s focused on small business.

The SAME DC & NoVA Posts’ Small Business Conference brings together the State & Local and Federal agencies and businesses throughout the DC & Northern Virginia area to network, discuss upcoming contracting opportunities, connect with potential teaming partners, and more!

  • Plenary and moderated sessions with government and private sector panelists
  • Exhibit Hall for companies to showcase their offerings and networking
  • Matchmaking sessions to connect and engage with government agencies, small and large businesses

Tickets

All-day conference tickets include admission to all conference sessions, networking and optional matchmaking, all-day coffee and water stations, lunch and happy hour event.

Online tickets must be purchased via Eventbrite by 7:00 pm on Tuesday, Feb. 22. All tickets purchased after the deadline will be charged the Walk-In Rate payable by check or Venmo the day of the event. No cash accepted.

For Member Firm Sizes, SAME recognizes the company business sizes based on the following employee counts:

Ticket Refund Policy

Refund requests will be accepted through 7:00 pm EST on Friday, February 18, 2022, and must be received in writing to samedcprograms@gmail.com. Ticket costs will be refunded in full, less an administrative fee of $50 for individual tickets.

You may also contact samedcprograms@gmail.com to request a transfer for $25 administrative fee. In addition, ticket holders must pay the additional cost if the new ticket type has a higher fee. There are no refunds if the ticket type has a lower fee.

Sponsorship Refund Policy

Sponsorship payment is non-refundable. In order to receive your full benefits, the sooner you select sponsorship, the sooner you can use your benefits. Because of publishing deadlines, some benefits may not be available after Feb. 19, therefore no new sponsorships can be purchased after that date. It is the responsibility of the sponsor to provide logos, narratives, attendee ticket holder information, and other details to be included in conference materials, programs, signage, and social media. Exhibit Hall Booths

Before purchasing your Exhibit Booth, contact Romano Dickerson (romano.dickerson@jacobs.com) as soon as possible to confirm availability and reserve your location. There are a limited number of exhibit hall booths available and this option will close when all booths/locations have been filled.

The standard exhibit booth includes:

  • Includes one (1) ticket registration. Additional tickets for exhibitors must be purchased separately.
  • Six (6) feet of booth space*
  • 4-ft. tall adjustable cocktail table (30-in. in diameter) with company ID sign
  • Two chairs
  • Company listing on event registration site
  • Company listing in the digital program**
  • One-time use of the pre-registered attendee list for the sole purpose of promoting exhibitor’s participation in the event

* Exhibit pricing is based on a standard 6-ft booth space. Anything exceeding existing “standard exhibit booth” space is considered a “display space” and must be negotiated separately.

** Booths purchased after February 18, 2022 may not be listed due to publishing deadlines

All exhibitor items and showcase materials must be brought in the day of the event. Wifi will be available, but there are no power outlets or extension cords available.

Please note: Your company must hold a current SAME Sustaining Membership to receive the member rate for a booth. Individual memberships do not apply to booth fees. If your company would like to become a Sustaining Member with SAME to receive the member rate, please sign up here.

Exhibit Booth Reservation and Payment Policy

Booth selection and availability are based on a first come, first serve basis. Before purchasing your exhibit booth, please contact Romano Dickerson (romano.dickerson@jacobs.com) to verify location and reserve your booth.

Payment via Eventbrite checkout is required to finalize your booth reservation and is due no later than Sunday, Feb. 20, 2022. Booths purchased after Feb. 18 may not be published in the Conference program because of publishing deadlines. SAME DC & NoVA Posts reserve the right to cancel booths that have not been paid within 48 hours of requested and accepted reservation.

Exhibit Booth Cancelation/Refund Policy

Full refund of all payments, less a $100 administrative fee will be granted if written notice is received by SAME DC/NoVA Posts no later than Feb. 14, 2022.

A 50% refund of exhibit booth fees, less a $100 administrative fee will be granted if written notice is received by SAME DC/NoVA Posts no later than Feb. 20, 2022.

Commencing Feb. 21, 2022, no refunds will be granted. Please send all booth cancelation/refund requests to Romano Dickerson (romano.dickerson@jacobs.com).

COVID-19 Precautions for an In-Person Event

All Capital One Hall event attendees must provide proof of full vaccination, the last dose of which was administered at least 14 days prior to entering Capital One Hall, or an approved COVID-19 negative test taken no more than 48 hours before entering Capital One Hall. Proof of vaccination can be your physical vaccine card or a photo of your card. The name on the card of negative test must match the name on your photo ID. Entry requirements subject to change.

All attendees must wear protective masks regardless of vaccination status while inside Capital One Hall, except when actively eating or drinking.

Please do not attend if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or are otherwise feeling sick or have a high temperature. Refunds can be granted, on a case-by-case basis, with written notice at least 24 hours from event start time, for ticket holders with COVID-19 related absence. No shows, without prior notice, will not be granted refunds. Refund policies for sponsorship and exhibit booths remain in effect.
