The technical approach is the meat of your proposal and is often scored the highest in best value, trade off analysis evaluations. It has to be innovative and make your proposal stand out from the competition. However, it takes longer than you might think to develop a custom solution for a specific customer and set of requirements. Waiting to start until the final request for proposal (RFP) is released means you’re behind, and you’ll have a difficult time focusing on solution development with all of the other activities going on during a live proposal. Corners get cut when you wait for the final RFP to start brainstorming. This video shows you how to brainstorm your solution most effectively.
