Exporting 101: Exploring New Markets and Global Opportunities

Are you looking to expand into overseas markets? Exporting can help your business grow its customer base – boosting sales, productivity and profits – by exploring new market opportunities.

The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA), in partnership with the Virginia Economic Development Partnership, U.S. Commercial Service - U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Small Business Administration will conduct a workshop for those persons that are interested in exporting. The workshop is designed to assist businesses that are considering export opportunities, in the process of expanding into foreign markets or currently exporting. Highlights of the workshop will include an overview of state and federal government resources, export financing, market entry strategies, how to identify partners and distributors, and an overview of the exporting process as well as presentations by the directors of the FCEDA overseas offices which are located in Seoul, Bangalore, Tel Aviv, Munich and London.
