Fairfax County EDA joins in regional webinar to help businesses cope with COVID-19 impacts

Fairfax County, Virginia  – The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) will be one of several organizations presenting during a webinar today to help Fairfax County and Northern Virginia businesses cope with the impacts of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emergency.

The webinar, “Keeping Your Workforce and Business Healthy During (and After) the Coronavirus Outbreak: A Whole Community Approach,” will begin at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time. Click here to register.

The Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Fairfax County Health Department are producing the webinar. Karen Smaw, the FCEDA director of business diversity investment and entrepreneurship, will present along with representatives of the Health Department, the Fairfax County Department of Economic Initiatives and the Fairfax County-based Community Business Partnership to discuss how business leaders can partner with government and community to combat the impacts of the coronavirus.

“With developments changing daily, it is important for business owners, executives and managers to stay as informed as possible during this crisis,” said Victor Hoskins, president and CEO of the FCEDA. “We appreciate the opportunity to work with many great partners throughout Fairfax County and Northern Virginia to get good information into the hands of those who need it.”
