Multidots expands operations to Fairfax County

FCEDA visits New Delhi and Mumbai during TradeWinds Indo Pacific Forum & Mission

Networking sessions designed to grow bilateral trade relations between India and the U.S. were held in New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata.

The FCEDA participated in the events in Mumbai and New Delhi, where  FCEDA India Manager Bonny Agarwal attended networking sessions. In New Delhi, Ian Steff, the International Trade Administration Secretary for the U.S. Department of Commerce , delivered opening remarks.

Participating companies were also invited to attend the Power of Place networking reception in the Tysons area of Fairfax County that that was organized by FCEDA and coincided with the culmination of the SelectUSA event on June 12.

The four-day TradeWinds Indo Pacific Forum & Mission 2019, organized by the U.S. Commercial Service, enabled the FCEDA to meet with 25 Indian companies seeking information about expansion to the U.S.

FCEDA offers info at CII Digitizing Summit

Beena Jain, business development associate from the FCEDA India office, attended the Confederation of Indian Industry Digitizing Summit on April 10 in Mumbai.

The event, titled “Igniting the Digital Transformation of India,” included discussion about emerging technologies and trends across, including the Internet of Things, 5G, cybersecurity and digital acceleration in the world of transportation, including railways, airports, highways and waterways.

The FCEDA interacted with seven companies, including two startups that discussed expansion plans in the U.S. The FCEDA provided all with information about growth opportunities to ways to set up their businesses in Fairfax County.

Fairfax County’s prowess in aerospace and defense a good fit at Aero India

Aero India, the largest aerospace and defense show in Asia, provided an opportunity for the FCEDA to network with 40 companies and showcase Fairfax County’s strength as a hub for the global aerospace and defense industry.

Held every other year, Aero India has carved a niche as a premier global aerospace exhibition and creates a significant platform for bolstering business opportunities in the international aviation sector.  The 2019 show, held in Bangalore from February 20 to 24, featured the display of 61 aircraft and 403 exhibitors.

FCEDA attends NASSCOM NIPP Mobility Challenge 2019 in Mumbai

FCEDA’s Mumbai representative Beena Jain attended the NASSCOM NIPP Mobility Challenge on April 25.

The event encouraged engagement between technology startups and large corporations.  FCEDA representatives met with numerous startups, more than one of which expressed interest in expanding their business in the U.S.
