Corporate Social Responsibility & Volunteer Fair

Don’t miss the Corporate Social Responsibility & Volunteer Fair under the tent at Northwest Federal Credit Union Headquarters in Herndon, VA.

Join host Northwest Federal Credit Union and partners to kick off National Volunteer Week with more than 35 local nonprofits interested in corporate partners, corporate volunteer outings, and individual volunteers!

  • Win Commanders Swag, Gift Cards, and More Raffle Prizes!
  • Meet Major Tuddy and the Command Squad!
  • Enjoy Hors d’oeuvres and Refreshments!

Event partners include the Dulles Area Transportation Association, the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority, and the Reston, Dulles, and Loudon Chambers.

Hear from Loudoun County Chair Phyllis Randall, and Fairfax County Board Chair Jeff McKay’s Director of Partnerships and Community Engagement Natalie Nguyen-Woodruff, about the importance of nonprofit-corporate partnerships to the Northern Virginia area.

Individuals are also welcome to visit with the nonprofits gathered to find a volunteering fit.

Some of the key benefits of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) program include:

  • Increased employee engagement: CSR initiatives contribute to higher employee engagement, leading to increased productivity, profitability, and lower absenteeism.
  • Increased revenue: Companies investing in social purpose have been found to generate 20% more revenue than those that don’t.
  • Attracting top talent: Organizations with a reputation for being socially responsible are more likely to attract and retain top talent.
  • Brand differentiation and awareness: CSR can set companies apart from their competitors and enhance their brand value.
  • Support for local and global communities: CSR programs allow businesses to have a positive social impact on the communities they operate in.
